Volunteer with the APBF today!

Volunteers are the heart & soul of this organization! Join our team of warm, welcoming, kind-hearted individuals from all walks of life with the same purpose – a better, safer life for companion animals and their humans. Our volunteers believe in dispelling stereotypes through education and are committed to concentrating their efforts on responsible dog ownership and compassionate companion animal care.

Our organization has so many incredible projects going on that we need your help with. Grab your spouse, your partner, your friends, your family, or come by yourself and meet new friends! Our success is your success. Here are a few programs to get involved with:

  • Humane Education – teaching our youth about compassionate care, disease and prevention, and how animals help people.
  • Outreach – providing spay/neuter, vaccinations, fences to untether dogs, medical treatment, and supplies to underserved communities to reduce overpopulation, euthanasia, and suffering
  • Foster parents and Puppy Socializers – to help care for and train service dogs for veterans with PTSD
